Accessibility

Built to work for everyone.

Ascend41 is committed to making this website usable for the widest possible audience, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as part of doing the work well rather than an afterthought.

What we do

  • Every page has a single, descriptive main heading and a logical heading order.
  • A "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard users bypass the navigation.
  • All interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Our assessments use proper radio-group semantics and announce progress to screen readers.
  • Form fields have programmatic labels, autocomplete hints, and errors that announce themselves.
  • We respect the "reduced motion" system setting and minimize non-essential animation.
  • We aim for color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA across text and interface controls.

Standards we follow

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our reference standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive.
